JUSTICE

Learn to do good. Seek justice. Help the oppressed. Defend the cause of orphans. Fight for the rights of widows. Isaiah 1:17

Justice is loving others by making the concerns of the vulnerable our own. It’s our hope to use our time, heart, and resources to bring health and restoration when and where we can to the poor, hurting, brokenhearted, pushed-down, imprisoned and forgotten. We do this because Jesus made and makes our concerns his! He is bringing health and restoration to us! It’s out of this place that we go and partner with him to do the same.

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT

We are a church that loves everyone. Part of loving everyone includes loving our city. Mission Viejo is an amazing community, and one of the ways we live out justice is to ensure our city (civic agencies and employees, police officers, fire fighters, and other civil servants) is supported to ensure the flourishing of the whole population. We want to provide you with opportunities to for community engagement with love for our city in mind.

GLOBAL

We partner with an organization called Food For the Hungry (FH) in six villages in Guatemala. FH invests in men, women and children in these villages to further develop their skills and leadership that are making them a sustainable community. So much so, that one day in the near future, they will not need our support in the same way!

  • Our next trip is scheduled for June 22-28, 2025.

Want to learn more or stay on the list to hear about upcoming trips? Add your name to the interest list!

  • One of the ways the efforts in Guatemala are funded is through child sponsorships. This is a unique opportunity to put our treasure where our heart is and make a difference in lives month after month. As you give, you will receive letters, pictures and have a chance to correspond with the child you sponsor through the translators at FH. Additionally, if you go on a trip there is a chance you could meet the child and their family!
