Finding a Facility for Oakhouse Church
As excited as we are about moving forward with our process of finding a new facility for our community, we are most excited that we are doing it together with Jesus in the lead. We want to communicate clearly and frequently as we walk this journey. Find updates and learn how to get involved here.
WHERE WE ARE

We are thrilled that an assessment of our ongoing finances has determined that we are able to secure a lease on a property when it comes available. We are also open to owning property, but the expense is probably out of our range at this point. When we locate and engage a property to lease, we will begin a campaign to raise funds to move in, which includes tenant improvements (T.I.) and build out of the space.

We have agreed to a relationship with Keith Green as our commercial real estate agent. We are in regular communication as he continues to search South Orange County for our space. Keith has years of experience and we are grateful to be working with him.

We have been and will continue to pray for this new season and our future facility. We will intentionally have at least one person praying every day until we move in. We invite you to join by clicking here and signing up for many days. Hopefully we won't need them all!

Once we identify a property to engage in, we will begin a campaign to raise funds to move in. These funds will be a combination of money to secure the property through the owner or bank as well as tenant improvements (T.I) and build out costs. The build out costs will vary based on the existing space and how much the owner wants to partner on T.I. The length of the campaign isn't set, but will likely be 6-12 weeks.

When the property is secured and the funds are in place from the campaign we can begin the development and build out of the space. We may be able to do all we need ahead of time, or continue to work on the space after we move in. This all depends on the facility. The timeline of this will also be determined by city permitting which can vary in great degrees.
